About the Conference

About the Conference

Join us for an interactive workshop on brachial plexus diagnosis through care! This two-day workshop will have short lectures, panel discussions, and discussion with the audience to address critical gaps in brachial plexus care including:

  • Identifying & describing the variability in diagnosis and treatment of brachial plexopathies between physicians.
  • Understanding the cause of this variability and determining limitations in diagnosis that are factors in driving this variability

This workshop will focus on differentiating between knowledge and dogma/practice norms.

The learning objectives from this workshop are to:
  • Understand how to fully utilize a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat patients with brachial plexopathies .
  • Maximize the potential of advanced imaging and electrodiagnostic studies to determine the severity of injury and the intrinsic capacity for nerve regeneration
  • Identify the boundaries of current knowledge and also differentiate between knowledge and practice norms/dogma in the diagnosis and treatment of brachial plexus plexopathies.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at this meeting. A prize award of $300 will be given to the top abstract presentation at the meeting.

Interest participants can submit an abstract during the registration process. Research on any topic related to brachial plexus care can be submitted and will be reviewed by the course planning committee.
