Raising AWARENESS of the IMPACT of Nerve Problems

The Global Nerve Foundation improves overall knowledge of peripheral nerve impact by fostering broad awareness for nerve conditions, symptoms and potential treatment solutions. We build awareness around nerve symptoms and their common causes by providing context and sharing the most up-to-date resources and data available. We enable clinicians, caregivers and patients to better communicate the impact of nerve symptoms and explore potential opportunities for treatment.

Programs of the Awareness Committee

The Education Committee develops education targeted to health care providers who treat peripheral nerve problems. Read below to learn more about each program.

Public Webinars

The Awareness Committee identifies key topics about peripheral nerves and organizes webinars with experts in the field to educate and raise awareness of peripheral nerve problems and possible care available.

Referring Physician Awareness and Education

Peripheral nerve problems are often missed or underdiagnosed by referring physicians (family practice, emergency medicine, etc.). The Awareness Committee coordinates outreach to clinics and presentations at conferences to provide these clinics with educational content for their patients.
