Episode 4 – Rehabilitation and Cortical Remodeling After Surgical Intervention for SCI

Amanda Bernstein, MRes., the Engineering Manager and Lab Scientist in the Hollis Lab, presents Rehabilitation and Cortical Remodeling After Surgical Intervention for SCI from Burke Neurological Institute in collaboration with Dr. Justin Brown at the Massachusetts General Paralysis Center. The focus of this trial is to determine the effects of rehabilitation on dexterous hand movements and cortical motor map changes in tetraplegic patients following nerve transfer surgery.

Dr. Ek Tsoon Tan and Dr. Darryl Sneag presenting Hourglass-like constrictions on MRI are common in electromyography-confirmed cases of neuralgic amyotrophy (Parsonage–Turner syndrome): A tertiary referral center experience.

Dr. Tan and Dr. Sneag discuss their recent publication to determine the sensitivity of identifying hourglass-like constructions using magnetic resonance neurography (MRN).
