These discussions allow researchers to present a recent publication, trial, or technology in the peripheral nerve space that improves the lives of people with nerve problems.

Dr. Damiano Barone shared his recent research on biohybrid bioelectronics and their use in nerves from amputation. This work showed function integration of a biohybrid device with the forearm nerve bundle of freely moving rats.

Episode 4 – Rehabilitation and Cortical Remodeling After Surgical Intervention for SCI
Amanda Bernstein, MRes., the Engineering Manager and Lab Scientist in the Hollis Lab, presents Rehabilitation and Cortical Remodeling After Surgical Intervention for SCI from Burke Neurological Institute in collaboration with Dr. Justin Brown at the Massachusetts General Paralysis Center. The focus of this trial is to determine the effects of rehabilitation on dexterous hand movements and cortical motor map changes in tetraplegic patients following nerve transfer surgery.
